Gen. Razon: Bomb Likely Hit Makati Mall

A bomb explosion has likely hit a shopping mall in Makati City early this afternoon that killed at least 8 people and left several others wounded said Philippine National Police Director General Avelino Razon.

Ayala Corp spokesman Alfonso Reyes confirmed that the explosion occurred at around 1:40 p.m.

Investigators have identified four of the dead as Liza Marquez, Jose Allan de Jesus, Lester Peregrina and nursing student Janine Marcos. They all died of shrapnel injuries.
